The elegance of the essential
The elegance of the essential and the luxury of simplicity are the keywords of this wonderful technological home overlooking the greenery of its garden and private outdoor area.
Located in the citadel of “Parchitello”, outside the city centre, this house with a view has been transformed into a contemporary, functional, welcoming, efficient and sophisticated living space thanks to a bespoke renovation.
The ACA STUDIO Architecture & Design firm of architect Angelo Capone, together with his collaborators, took care of the interior design and furnishings, the management of the works with the associated building permit, constantly following the client throughout the many stages of the renovation.
The aim was to transform and renovate the overall aesthetic appearance and functionality of the interior and exterior spaces, which had remained unchanged since the 1990s, with an interior design project that would give the living spaces a new identity. The prestigious location of the house required a design choice that focused on exclusivity, modernity and functionality.
The minimalist style of the final interior design conveys order and regularity to the rooms. The white walls make the environment brighter and give the impression of greater space. Furthermore, the sharp contrast between the white background and the colours of the furnishings highlights the various distinctive elements of the house.
Attention was also paid to the lighting design of the interiors, with different types of lighting used depending on the room/element to be illuminated, consisting of plasterboard systems and lamps.
The custom-made furnishings were designed by the architectural firm and conceived as “furniture walls” in order to achieve material and stylistic linearity and greater containment. Some of them are integrated into technical rooms dedicated to technological and cooling systems.
The choice of materials reflects the identity of the clients, resulting in harmony between them and in symbiosis with all the adjoining spaces. The materials used are stoneware slabs, natural stone and natural oak parquet, which give the rooms elegance, uniqueness, warmth and design.
