conviviality at the first place

The indispensable desire to save and enhance the precious already existing floors of this ancient residence in the center of Rome, accompanies the design of this renovation. The second intent of the project was to refresh the precious details without giving up to the modern linearity. Thanks to a long manual work, the cement tiles of the late ‘800 were removed, polished and relocated. The living area organization puts at the first place conviviality giving wide space to movement and communication. The few divisions, composed of all custom made stained glass windows, ehnance the space and underline the heights. If necessary part of them can disappear sliding into the walls, while the classic lines of the wood create a pleasant contrast with the accuracy of the modern furniture. The study of a comfortable lighting grants the well-being of those who leave, and the ceiling lamps of 9010novantadieci create a paint of geometries and volumes in the environment. The relaxing pastel shades, chosen for the furniture with a clean design, softly support the light to give the enviroment a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Far from the lively living area there is the sleeping area and the master bedroom with en suite bathroom. A refined play of overlapping surfaces with sophisticated textures enhance the enviroment, without subtracting space. Among the delicated and vertical surfaces there is a mood lighting, a wonderful installation of the LED products of 9010novantadieci made in CRISTALY®, a hypoallergenic material.
