An apartment with bold colors

Strategically located but far from the chaos of the city of Bari, this house has been redesigned with bold colors and sloping ceilings. The large apartment is home to a lively and cheerful family who inspired the color contrasts and decorative accents. The aim was to work on the atmosphere. Colors and materials trace the lines of the project. The elimination of the hallway has allowed for the complete opening up of the living area. The flow of movement is marked by the use of color, which extends from the entrance wall to a portion of the ceiling, delineating the accesses to the other rooms and ideally marking the passageway. The dialogue with the adjoining kitchen, through a glass wall, multiplies the perception of space and amplifies the brightness. The guest bathroom is more daring, playing on optical effects and the contrast with the fiery red furniture. The bathroom in the sleeping area echoes the soft, relaxing colors and atmosphere of the master bedroom. The shared bedroom of the two children is centered on symmetry to respect equivalent spaces, partially screened by a ‘perforated’ partition in intense ochre yellow. Casa CM is not just a well-designed interior but a creative act that invites us to rethink living. Every element suggests a home that does not close but opens up to design, art, and color contrasts, to build a present that looks ahead.
