Yes. All 9010novantadieci products offer the possibility of inspecting and eventually replacing the electrical components without the need for any masonry work.

Thanks to the 9010novantadieci installation solutions, including the Advanced Mounting System demonstrated in this video, a perfect result can be achieved by any professional who simply follows the instructions that accompany the 9010 products. It is necessary to follow the order indicated in the instructions, conducting a complete electrical switch-on and dimming test before grouting, whilst wearing clean gloves to prevent dirtying the item.

Yes. All 9010novantadieci products can be installed on plasterboard without the need for any accessories. To install 9010novantadieci recessed products on masonry, use the special masonry housing box available amongst the accessories for the item. Certain profiles of the 9010novantadieci range can be installed both on brick masonry and on concrete, with the standard equipment present on-site without requiring an outer casing.

To install the housing box, simply follow the accompanying instructions in the order indicated. It may be helpful to watch this video on assembly and this video on installation.

The build thickness for the 9010 recessed products is 12.5 mm but most are equipped with the “multi-size” system, meaning that – thanks to a particular fastening bracket – it makes no difference if they are installed on 12.5 mm single-board plasterboard or 25 mm double boards. A kit for installation on a single 15 mm boards or 30 mm double boards is available on request.

For CRISTALY® products that need to be glued, it is advisable to utilise a general structural sealant for plasterboard, a product readily available on the market.

CRISTALY® and Ceramica 9010novantadieci® products can be coloured with any water-based paint in order to personalise each item. Decorative finishes are also available, which can be consulted directly on the website, on the specific page of the item, whilst finishes can also be made upon request when ordering at least the minimum number of items, by contacting the 9010novantadieci Technical Office.

Yes, after carefully dusting and applying a primer or fixative for gypsum surfaces before applying the finish.

The IP rating evaluates and classifies the degree of protection, with the first digit referring to the protection against the intrusion of solid particles (such as sand and dust) and the second digit regarding the impermeability against liquids. It might be useful to know that an IP20 product has no protection against the entry of liquids whilst an IP44 product is splash-proof and thus will be suitable for a bathroom. An IP65 product is protected from jets of water and totally safeguarded against the ingress of dust and sand, hence it can better withstand rain and inclement weather, making it suitable for outdoor environments.  Some 9010novantadieci recessed products are shown as IP20-IP44, meaning that they obtain an IP44 rating only when completely installed.

A damp cloth without any solvent will suffice to remove any dust. For subtle marks, such as fingerprints left during installation, we recommend a white eraser or an ultra-fine abrasive paper at most. Finally, if really dirty, it is possible to paint the item, following the instructions for the specific material. As always, it is a good idea to be careful during installation and to wear clean gloves.
